About ACCESS

Our Mission

Expanding Individual Potential Through Innovative Instruction
ACCESS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit offering evaluation services, therapy services, mental health services, full-time education, vocational training, and community integration for individuals with language and learning disorders and developmental disabilities ages six weeks through adulthood. Our experts take a team approach to providing person-centered care for every client. While our programs and services have expanded over the years, our dedication to building brighter futures has remained the same.

  • History of ACCESS

ACCESS began in 1994, offering therapy and preschool services for seven children. Since then, we have listened to the needs of our clients, growing to meet the demands of our community and expanding to serve the needs of countless individuals with special needs from birth through adulthood. ACCESS now serves more than 870 families across Arkansas and the surrounding states on two main campuses and seven host sites throughout the state.

  • Starting with the End in Mind

As ACCESS has grown from serving preschool children to now serving individuals all the way through adulthood, our team has witnessed the importance of beginning therapy, education, and vocational training with the end in mind. Purpose and independence do not simply develop when a adolescent or young adult is ready to enter the workforce or choose their path beyond high school. Those qualities are instilled from a young age, and ACCESS has designed a unique, multi-sensory curriculum to unlock and build upon those characteristics from the very beginning.
