COVID-19 Policy

ACCESS COVID-19 POLICY

  • Face masks will be optional for all clients and employees regardless of vaccination status. Any client or employee who wishes to continue wearing a mask while on an ACCESS campus may do so.
  • If a client or employee tests positive for COVID-19, he or she must isolate at home for 5 days after the onset of symptoms or date of positive test, whichever came first. If the client or employee are symptom-free, he or she may return to school or work as early as day 6 as long as he or she wears a well-fitting mask at all times. During snack or lunch times that require a mask to be removed, the client or employee must eat or drink in an area that is well-distanced from others.
  • Any client or employee who has been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 will no longer be required to quarantine unless the individual exposed is showing symptoms of COVID-19. However, we will continue to contact all parents of clients who were exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 so parents may choose whether or not they wish to quarantine their child.
  • We will continue to send home any client or employee who exhibits any symptoms of COVID-19 and ask that he or she receives a negative COVID-19 test before returning to campus. If a client or employee is showing any symptoms of COVID-19 prior to coming onto campus, please stay home or keep your child at home.

Thank you for your support as we continue to adjust our COVID-19 policy based on recommendations and guidelines from local health advisors, the CDC, and the Arkansas Department of Health. ACCESS will continue to monitor active COVID-19 cases within our community and reserves the right to make updates to our COVID-19 policy based on what we feel is best for the health and safety of our clients and employees.
