Christina Kaufman has been a part of ACCESS Academy since 2023 and currently serves as an Academy TA in the Intermediate 3 classroom. She enjoys developing strong bonds with the students in her class and working alongside the teacher and support team to provide the best learning environment for the students.
Since high school, Christina has known she wanted to work with children with disabilities. Over the course of four summers, she volunteered at Easter Seals of Little Rock, working in the PreK rooms, and was honored with the Easter Seals Volunteer of the Year Award for her dedication. Christina attended the University of Central Arkansas, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education, specializing in Special Education, and holds a teaching certificate in the state of Arkansas. While in college, Christina completed multiple internships as a student teacher at public schools in Conway, gaining experience with a wide range of students. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Reading with the goal of becoming a reading interventionist.
Christina loves working at ACCESS because of the wonderful community of hardworking individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children. Outside of work, Christina enjoys grabbing a coffee, spending time with friends and family, and crocheting. She is also heavily involved in her church, serving on the leadership team for the young adults group, playing guitar in the group's band, and acting as the social media co-chair.
