Deborah Peoples has been with ACCESS Academy since 2024 and is having the time of her life! She currently serves as the Reading Teacher for Intermediate 1 & 2 and the Music Teacher for the Intermediate School, Academic Foundations, and Kindergarten Foundations. Deborah graduated from Henderson State University with a degree in English Studies and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Counseling Education and General Counseling.
Her favorite part of working at ACCESS is seeing students learn and thrive. Challenges are met with a positive attitude, and everyone works together to improve each day.
Outside of work, Deborah enjoys spending time with her family, ministering to youth, leading worship, reading, and working on jigsaw puzzles. She lives by Maya Angelou’s quote: “If you don’t like it, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.”
