Irma has been a part of the ACCESS Early Childhood team for almost two years and currently serves as the Lead Teacher for one of the Toddler classes. Irma enjoys watching her students thrive at school every day, seeing them grow as they learn new vocabulary, develop positive attitudes, and build crucial listening and social skills.
Before joining ACCESS, Irma taught in two countries, in two different languages, working with children ranging from toddlers to high school students, and everything in between. She has also been involved in Children's Ministry for decades.
Irma holds a degree in Teaching Spanish and French as Second Languages from the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes in Mexico. In addition to speaking three languages, Irma is highly creative and consistently uses her creativity to enrich classroom activities and teach her students in novel and engaging ways.
Irma loves spending time with her family, including her children and granddaughter, and enjoys serving in her church in Alexander, AR.
