Kristen Alexander joined ACCESS in March of 2026 as the Community Development Coordinator. She supports ACCESS vocational programs through business and community development for ACCESS Village and the 7 Project SEARCH sites around the state. She loves building community, both in her personal and professional life, and is excited to bring that passion to the talented young adults at ACCESS.
Kristen is an Arkansas native who has always had a passion for advocacy. She brings 8+ years of experience in building statewide initiatives for the traumatic brain injury community, as well as multiple community organizing roles. She received her dual master's degree in public health and public service in 2017 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the Clinton School of Public Service.
Kristen is extremely creative and active in her community. She is a volunteer docent at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, where she also serves as the Art Together coordinator on the Docent Advisory Council, assisting with art programs for accessibility. She also serves on the board for the Doula Alliance of Arkansas. For fun, she loves playing ukulele, singing, camping, backpacking, and is "Little Rock famous" for her many wins in the annual SoMardi Gras beard competition.
