Maxwell “Max” Senger, OTD, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist at the ACCESS Stella Boyle Smith Early Childhood campus. He graduated from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) in August 2024 with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Before attending UCA, Max earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Kentucky. He is also a certified DIR (Developmental, Individual-differences, and Relationship-based) Floortime Practitioner with a basic certificate. Max began working at ACCESS in August 2023 as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the ACCESS CES Medicaid Waiver and Community Integration Department. In October 2024, he transitioned to the ACCESS Early Childhood team.
Max believes a “fun, fair, and safe” environment is key to achieving the best therapy outcomes. He loves seeing both the small and big wins with the wonderful friends he works with every day! Originally from Gurnee, IL, Max lived there until moving away for his undergraduate and graduate studies. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, cooking, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats!
