Sydney Bergt, OTD, OTR/L, has been a part of the ACCESS Early Childhood team since 2023. She loves watching her students grow and achieve their therapy goals as they engage in activities within the literacy-based curriculum used at ACCESS. Sydney takes great joy in celebrating even the small wins of her students. During her time at ACCESS, she has witnessed the positive impact of early intervention and values a team approach, particularly when pushing into classrooms during multi-sensory learning activities. Her experience with children allows her to view each student through a strength-based lens, helping her effectively address deficits in fine motor, visual motor, self-care, and sensory processing skills.
Sydney holds a doctorate degree in occupational therapy from the University of Central Arkansas.
When Sydney is not serving the ACCESS mission, she enjoys working out, shopping, going bass fishing with her husband, and spending time with her family.
