Teresa Rios has been part of the ACCESS since 2018 when she took on her current role as the Lower 2 lead teacher at teh ACCESS Academy. Teresa loves watching her students’ confidence grow as they learn new skills and expand their potential. Her favorite part about working for ACCESS is the team approach and seeing how multiple disciplines work together to support each student’s goals.
Teresa graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Special Education. Teresa has received training in the Dubard-Association Method and Connections OGin3D. Although Teresa’s background is on intervention and remediation for literacy and math, she enjoys getting to be creative and integrating that knowledge into everyday curriculum with fun and dynamic lessons.
Outside of ACCESS, Teresa enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking cakes and sweet treats, and serving at New Life Church.
