Courtney Herrington, PT, DPT has been part of the ACCESS team for two and a half years. She currently serves client's in the two-year old, Pre-K 3, Kindergarten transition, and Discoveries classrooms at ACCESS. As a physical therapist, Courtney enjoys helping children become stronger, improve their balance, reach gross motor milestones, and achieve their full potential. Courtney believes that every child can reach their full potential with the right intervention and interdisciplinary team approach.
Prior to working at ACCESS, Courtney received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 2019 taking part in the Advanced Pediatric Elective during her time there. She continues to seek out continuing education courses to improve her skills as a physical therapist including courses on Autism Spectrum Disorder, orthotics, and new treatment techniques.
Courtney's favorite part about working at ACCESS is the relationships she has built with her clients, their families, and her colleagues. When not at ACCESS, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, being outdoors, reading, and cooking/baking.
