Emily Leger, M.S., CF-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Emily Leger, M.S., CF-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist for clients in the Lower 2, Intermediate 1, and Intermediate 2 classrooms. She has been with the ACCESS Academy and Young Adult team as a speech therapist since 2021, and she could not be happier to be a part of a mission that she believes in so strongly. Emily has seen the benefits of speech therapy at ACCESS first-hand throughout her entire life, and believes that the multisensory, comprehensive, and purposeful approach to therapy and education that ACCESS provides is the key to enriching the lives of the children and families served.

Prior to joining the ACCESS therapy team, Emily received her Masters of Speech Language Pathology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She has previously served as a teaching assistant at the ACCESS Academy and Young Adult Campus and the facilitator of ACCESS Adventure in the summers throughout college. Emily is certified in Non-violent Crisis Prevention Intervention.

Emily's favorite part of working for ACCESS is her clients! She loves being a part of such a bright and collaborative atmosphere where each child is given the space and resources to grow to his or her full potential. When Emily is not at ACCESS, she enjoys hiking, painting, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.
