Emily Ward

Project SEARCH Job Developer

Emily Speer has been part of the Project SEARCH Arkansas: ACCESS Initiative in partnership with Arkansas Rehabilitation Services team since June 2015 and is currently a Job Developer for several of the sites throughout the state. Emily loves watching the interns grow professionally throughout their time in Project SEARCH. Emily believes that every intern can find successful, integrated employment by learning and utilizing their strengths and expanding their potential in the workplace.

Before working with the Job Development team, Emily was a Skills Trainer, Supported Employment Skills Trainer, and Instructor/Coordinator for the ACH and UAMS Project SEARCH Sites. She has presented at two Project SEARCH International Conferences and attended others to implement new ideas within our sites. She is looking forward to more Professional Development opportunities in the future.

Her favorite part of working for Project SEARCH is the teams she works with; everyone works together to achieve the same goal for each of our clients, and when that goal is completed, we all celebrate!

Emily has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hendrix College. She spent a semester abroad in London studying British Life and Culture, Art and Architecture, and developing a massive love for travel!

When she is not working, Emily likes to spend time outside with her husband and twin babies, eat at local restaurants, and plan their next travel adventure!
