Isleide Aland

ACCESS Life Lead Instructor

Isleide Aland is the Lead Instructor in the ACCESS Life adult program. She joined ACCESS the summer of 2021 and has over twenty years in the education field. Her experiences working closely with children with disabilities, managing educational programs, and community activities benefits the adults in the program by teaching them fundamental life skills. Her passion for education and conservation of the earth blends well with the ACCESS Horticulture program and daily greenhouse projects. At her former job at the New Road School, she worked with young children to establish a thriving composting program.

In her time here, she has not only implemented a successful composting program but has also aided in adding four new bird feeders around the Mississippi campus. During her free time, Isleide enjoys leaning languages such as Portuguese and loves dancing.
