Jennifer White, MS, OTR/L has been part of the ACCESS Early Childhood team since 2020. Prior to joining ACCESS, Jennifer worked at Pediatrics Plus, specifically in their specialty autism spectrum disorder classroom. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy both from the University of Central Arkansas. Jennifer currently works primarily with children in the Kindergarten transition classroom, milestones classroom, and with toddlers who have complex feeding needs. Jennifer enjoys working with children of varying needs and actively seeks out continuing education opportunities to ensure she is meeting the needs of each individual child on her caseload. Jennifer has completed the SOS Approach to Feeding course as well as supplemental courses related to feeding autistic children, weaning off of G-tube feeds, and feeding older children following the Food Scientist Approach.
Jennifer’s favorite part of working for ACCESS is collaborating with and communicating with families to help with generalization of skills across all environments and to celebrate each success. Jennifer loves how ACCESS values family involvement through events like literacy nights, muffins with moms, and inviting families to attend plays or graduation. When she is not working, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and their now three year old little boy.
