Kimberlyn Cooper

Project SEARCH Skills Trainer

Kimberlyn Rochelle Cooper is a graduate of Camden Fairview High School, class of 2001, and attended Southern Arkansas University. By the age of 21, she had already become a retail store manager. Kimberlyn recalls that at 15, when she first entered the workforce, she told her mom she wanted to be a "Jack of all Trades." Her mom responded, "Well Kim, you most definitely have the personality and willpower, I know you will succeed!"

Kimberlyn began her career in the food industry, then transitioned to retail clothing, and later worked in a furniture warehouse, even delivering furniture and assembling anything she encountered. After her son had a life-threatening health scare at the age of two, Kimberlyn felt called to explore healthcare. She started with billing and coding, attending Remington College in Garland, Texas.

After moving back to Arkansas, Kimberlyn applied to work at a facility specializing in adults with disabilities, and she knew instantly that this was the path she wanted to pursue. She has since worked in private healthcare, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others.
