Rachel Byrd, PT, DPT, has been a Physical Therapist on our ACCESS Academy and Young Adult campus since 2022. Rachel received her Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree with an emphasis on medical sciences from Arkansas State University in May of 2018. She remained at Arkansas State University to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2021. During PT school, she developed a passion for pediatric therapy. Rachel loves witnessing her clients meet their goals and carry their newfound skills into their personal lives.
Before joining ACCESS, Rachel worked for Kidsource Therapy, treating clients around the Little Rock area. Her experience dining in various settings has helped her become more flexible and creative with her treatment approaches.
Rachel's favorite part of working for ACCESS is making a positive impact on her clients every day. She loves investing in their gross motor development and their overall story while utilizing ACCESS's multidisciplinary approach. Outside of ACCESS, Rachel loves spending time with her husband, Dylan, family and friends, the outdoors, and cheering on the Razorbacks any chance she gets.
