Karen “Renee” Beasley-Goodwin has been a part of the ACCESS Academy since 2014 and serves as a T.A. in the Upper I classroom. Ms. Renee is passionate about watching her students excel using the literacy-based curriculum provided by ACCESS. She believes that every student is unique and has the potential to succeed with early intervention and a dedicated team approach. With extensive experience working with students of varying abilities, Ms. Renee brings creativity, compassion, love, and patience to her work.
Before joining ACCESS, she worked as a paraprofessional for the Shelby County School District in Memphis, Tennessee, for six years and was also a lead teacher at the Chenal Valley Church Day School for 8 ½ years. Ms. Renee attended Philander Smith University.
Her favorite part of working at ACCESS is seeing her students’ progress daily. Outside of her work with ACCESS, she enjoys singing in her church choir, spending time with her family, and shopping.
