Renee Bennett, PT

Physical Therapy Team Leader

Renee Bennett, PT, has been a part of ACCESS for the past 25 years! She began as the only contract physical therapist when ACCESS had only two classrooms of eight kids each. She is currently the Physical Therapy Team Leader for the ACCESS Academy and Young Adult campus, moving to this campus when the organization expanded in 2016. Watching her clients mature and grow are two of Renee's favorite things about ACCESS. Being a part of an organization that puts its clients first, growing and changing over the years to meet their needs, has been a joy, as is getting to be a small part of the successes.

Renee grew up in Iowa and earned her physical therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to coming to ACCESS, she worked at Arkansas Children's Hospital where she was the Clinical Coordinator of education, spina bifida consultant, and parawalker specialist.

Renee has three grown children whom she homschooled while initally working part-time at ACCESS. While teaching her children, she was very active in the homeschool community, serving on the Flames Athletic Board and coaching Track and Field for 15 years. Athletics are still a huge part of her free time, including keeping books for her husband's basketball team and cheering on her son's professional basketball team. She is also an avid reader and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
