Sarah Attwood, MA, CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Sarah Attwood, M.A., CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist at the ACCESS Early Childhood Campus. She attended Ouachita Baptist University and graduated with her degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2017. After graduating from OBU, she pursued her Master of Art degree at Louisiana Tech University, graduating in 2019.

Sarah started working at ACCESS in August of 2021. She enjoys working with children varying in all communication needs; however, she has a passion for Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She believes in involving play-based approaches in her sessions to make therapy engaging for each child.

Sarah enjoys working at ACCESS because of the team-based approach incorporating teachers, therapists, and parents to all work toward the same goal. The thematic units provide a language-enriched environment, making therapy and classroom learning functional and fun!

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her dog, family and friends. You can often find her shopping, reading, watching tv, or at the lake.
