Stephanie Chester, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Therapy Team Leader

Stephanie Chester, M.S., CCC-SLP first came to ACCESS as a graduate student in the fall of 2006. She quickly fell in love with the mission and the positive impact each person at ACCESS had on the clients' lives. After graduating from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with her master’s degree, she was hired as an "official" speech-language pathologist. Over the years at ACCESS, Stephanie has worked with clients in almost every classroom on campus. She is currently the speech-language pathologist working with clients in the Lower 1 classroom at the ACCESS Academy and Young Adult campus.

Stephanie also serves as the Speech-Language Therapy Team Leader for the team of speech-language pathologists at the ACCESS Academy and Young Adult campus. She takes great pride in her role as team leader, guiding, informing, supervising, supporting, and assisting the 13, soon-to-be 15, speech-language pathologists on campus.

Stephanie enjoys the unique experience of working with a multi-disciplinary team in an immersive environment that allows therapists to reach each child where they are and provide the tools they need for success. In addition to providing 1:1 therapy, she leads weekly pragmatics and taste-test groups specifically created for the clients in her classroom.

One of Stephanie's favorite things to do is play tennis! Since 2019, she has been involved in planning, initiating, and coaching ACCESS's ACEing Autism program, designed to teach clients basic tennis skills and provide a positive social experience through weekly lessons and activities.

Outside of ACCESS, Stephanie enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and watching her kids play sports!
