Academic Prep Summer Camp

The unique circumstances of the 2020-21 academic year have left many parents to question their child’s readiness for a new grade in the fall. Did they master all of the skills needed to be successful in the next academic year? Will the “summer slide” put them even further behind? The experts at the ACCESS Evaluation and Resource Center are here to help!

Students entering Kindergarten through sixth grade will have an opportunity to combine academic learning and traditional summer camp fun to reinforce readiness skills needed to be successful at the start of the 2021-22 academic year. Hosted at the ACCESSAcademy and Young Adult campus, students will participate in a three-week, age-appropriate course that will increase confidence in required grade-level skills such as reading, writing, spelling, ACT Aspire writing strategies, and more while exploring fun and learning through adventures and games. All sessions will be led by an ACCESS academic therapist who specializes in various teaching methods for learners of all types.
